March 2025    The voice-over project for 2023 WCF video courses by Pastor Johnson of the Independent Presbyterian Church of Savannah was awarded. Under this project, there are 16 lectures consisting of 32 videos to be translated, subtitled, and voiced over. The total length of all videos is 1,600 minutes. A team consisting of one editor, three translators, one sound engineer, one voice actor was formed soon after project award. All members worked together and completed the whole project in a duration of 8 months. Interestingly, the sound engineer Brother Chou is a third-generation Christian from a Baptist Church who never heard of the Westminster Confession of Faith and the London Baptist Confession of Faith. He was deeply moved into tears during recording by some parts of the courses.

November 25 2025     This day marks the day of last recording for Lecture 16 Part B, a day worth remembering. Praise the Lord!

Upon completion, all voice-over videos were uploaded to YouTube account of the Exodus Press and Media (https://www.youtube.com/@ChanJames-y9k). In addition, more short videos (YouTube Shorts) are being edited and made from parts of the complete series for catching the attentions and easy learning of the listeners. We are very grateful that God has allowed us to get in touch of more Christians and minsters who are interested in learning reformed theology through this project.

II. Authorization of Use of Materials by Chinese Churches

August 17 2025     Exodus Press Company grants its authorization of its materials to:

Auckland Christian Mandarin Glory Church

for the uses of Chinese contents in some parts of its publications, which are being used in the Church Weekly Bulletin for non-profit purposes.

III. First Book Launch for Westminster Confession of Faith for Study Classes

October 12, 2025    A book launch was held at Tainan Reformed Church.

Topic: The Framework of the Westminster Confession of Faith and Its Pastoral Implications

Contents: The speaker James Chan shared his experience in using Westminster Confession of Faith from his church planting and pastoring since 2013. The Tainan Reformed Church was a newly planted church since April 13, 2025.

IV. Exodus Press and Media China

2025 was a year of increasing Cross-Straight tension between Taiwan and China. In addition, China also intensified crackdown on underground churches with arrests and demolitions on a full scale. Pastors and members of churches are being imprisoned one after the other. The Early Rain Covenant Church, which promotes reformed faith, is being severely restricted. “Reformed Churches” are enlisted as key targets of strike.

Despite the high tension, we still receive enquiries from Chinese Christians who visited our FaceBook clubs via VPN for more information about Calvinism and Westminster Confession of Faith. In addition, Chinese churches in Malaysia also contacted us, seeking possibilities of collaboration in promoting the works of Pastor Terry L. Johnson and other reformed materials. We look forward to 2026 as a year of reaching out to Chinese Christians with existing books about doctrines and worship for the benefits of the churches.

With this mind, we have set up the following three channels through which the ministry of the Exodus Press and Media may reach out to China (Exodus Press and Media China).

I. Media:

We have created WeChat Official Account and WeChat Channels. WeChat, owned by Tencent, is the window into everything in China. It’s a way for you to connect with friends, do business, and reach millions and millions of people. We continue to create short videos from WCF voice-over lectures and upload them to both platforms for viewings. Within less than 10 days, we have accumulated more than 10K views for all the materials, as well as feedback from viewers. It appears that Chinese Christians indeed hunger and thirst for the truth of the Gospel, despite the severe oppression. Meanwhile, reformed faith is receiving attentions and acceptance from Christians in China and other countries. The is the time to deliver sound education of the reformed faith, without which, misunderstandings and misapplications of its teachings may result. 

II. Safe Delivery of Books:

We ship books to China through multiple channels, considering the quantity needed, safe arrival, and the cost buyers can afford. To make sure these books arrive at the hands of buyers, we need creative ways for affordable and safe shipping.

III. Education

We heard the voices of needing Christian educations for equipping officers, elders and deacons, as well as for the laity. Some even hope to see a visitation by Pastor Johnson to Malaysia for his teachings in reformed faith, pastoring and worship. Meanwhile, we are studying the possibility of developing an online course for WCF as the main tool for such a purpose. With help of the voice-over lectures and publications of WCF for Study Classes, we see a feasible solution to this purpose.

Conclusion: With above three channels, we believe we can further reformed faith to Chinese churches not only in Taiwan and China, but also in Asia.

V. Projects in 2026

A. A visitation to Chinese churches in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

When: TBD, after April 2026

Itinerary：Taiwan to Singapore; Singapore to Malaysia; Malaysia to Indonesia; Indonesia to Taiwan

Purposes: Make acquittance with supporting churches, give presentation about the ministry, promote current publications, offer to share resources, seek cooperation in media, etc.

B. Publication plans 2026

3. Seeking to promote the theology behind the Kingdom Prologue: Genesis Foundations for a Covenantal Worldview by Meredith G. Kline

C. Officers Training with Westminster Confession of Faith (online courses)

Offering online courses to Chinese Churches in Taiwan, Malaysia, New Zealand, etc. for the training of their officers and candidates.

Meetings with visiting Chinese church leaders and coworkers
